The brief for this project was part of a bigger project to renovate the entire apartment. These are examples of a front and back elevation that I measured and then drew up in AutoCAD for the renovation of the exterior.
Once the facade had been drawn, client requirements were consulted and notes were added to the drawing so that it could be presented. Both facades have now been renovated along with various apartments within the building.
Private Client
The principal at Atelier was given a rough sketch of an existing apartment with dimensions and a rough idea of how the client wanted to be changed.
I was entrusted with drafting the sketch on AutoCAD and then designing a new layout based off of the ideas and needs of the client. This was a small job as the basic layout was kept the same but I enjoyed being able to consult with the client and balance there needs with building regulation requirement. This also gave me an opportunity to work directly with the principal.
Hunter Residence
This project was for the principal of Atelier New York Architecture. The brief was to add two more bedrooms to the upper floor shown below which was quite straight forward due to the size of the closet, bathroom and master bedroom. I was then asked to do the reflected ceiling plan shown below.
