9/11 Memorial

Today got a chance to see the 9/11 memorial with the mother. Everything surrounding the memorial pools are in construction and I'm very interested to see what the finished space will be like. One World Trade Center is one of the only buildings finished and it dominates the space. An amazing tribute that can be seen from all over New York City. During my stay here I do want to go up to the observatory and see the view across Manhattan, to Brooklyn and Queens and towards Staten Island. From the observatory we then walked to Battery Park!
