After seeing Mat's apartment and meeting his roommates we had lunch, and took the metro to the Brooklyn Bridge! The Brooklyn Bridge is split into two, pedestrians and cyclists, the lanes however are very narrow and it gets very busy. From the very start we could see Manhattan off in the distance, the funny thing about the skyline is in graphics of it, everything is quite close together, its actually spread out over the entire island.
The bridge's structure is incredible, the steel cables, the arched supports, I will definitely be taking multiple walks back and forth for the next year.
