The shock of the Flatiron

So on the way to measure an apartment this morning I stepped out and as I was trying to find where I was on Google Maps and I happened to look up! It is crazy that a building so well known was being ignored by everyone walking past on their way to work who either are used to it or don't care that is is there. The Flatiron building is between 5th avenue and Broadway. Broadway is the street that crosses over Manhattan at a diagonal, and the Flatiron building follows this diagonal. I look forward to coming across buildings I have admired from a far being right in front of me in the next few months!
